IFOAM is looking for a Research & Innovation Coordinator

    The Research & Innovation Unit of IFOAM Organics Europe promotes knowledge exchange and engages organic actors in participatory research to help develop the sector. In addition, it implements projects with wider political relevance, building bridges to other sectors in agriculture. The new Research & Innovation Coordinator will be responsible for implementing a range of projects dealing with organic seed, plant breeding, intercropping, food security and other topics in the context of the ECO-READY project. 

    ECO-READY aims to analyse the drivers that affect food security in Europe. It will build an observatory to better understand the connections between food security, climate change and biodiversity and establish a Network of Living Labs for co-creation of scenarios for food resilience. The main role of IFOAM Organics Europe in the project is to connect the project with organic stakeholders and bring in the organic perspective

    Responsibilities:

    • Recruit and engage organic stakeholders;
    • Contribute to design of scenarios for food resilience;
    •  Contribute to research on consumer behavioural change;
    • Contribute to elaboration and dissemination of policy recommendations;
    • And many more exciting day-to-day tasks.
