After publishing its milestone “User and Policy Needs Assessment” (see link to publication and press release), EuropaBON is excited to invite you to our webinar “User and Policy Needs of biodiversity data in Europe: EuropaBON assessment”.

In this one-hour webinar, we will present the findings of the assessment and answer questions from participants in an interactive discussion space.

The one-hour webinar is open and free to all. It will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 4th 2022 at 4-5pm CET.

The User and Policy Needs Assessment outlines policy flows for biodiversity monitoring in Europe, along with major challenges and proposed solutions. It identifies clusters of relevant policy questions, ranks Essential Biodiversity and Essential Ecosystem Services Variables, and shows their monitoring status in each participating country. The various analyses of the assessment are based on input from more than 350 consulted stakeholders working in policy, research and environmental management.
