The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) for a Scientific Project Officer with the duties of contributing to the work programme of the Unit related to the fields of Marine Environment, and Chemical Contaminants.
The position is suitable for an environmental chemistry scientist in the context of collaboration with DG ENV
on supporting the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD).
The candidate will carry out scientific and technical work to support EU MS through the MSFD Expert Network
on Contaminants, in close collaboration with Regional Sea Conventions in shared basins and considering provisions and working groups of the Water Framework Directive.
