{"id":2795,"date":"2022-11-03T11:09:31","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T10:09:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/europabon.org\/?p=2795"},"modified":"2022-12-12T11:26:09","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T10:26:09","slug":"phd-vacancy-for-ecological-connectivity-conservation-and-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/europabon.org\/?p=2795","title":{"rendered":"PhD vacancy for Ecological connectivity conservation and planning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.idiv.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">iDiv<\/a> is offering a\u00a0<strong>post-doc researcher position on ecological connectivity<\/strong>\u00a0as part of the Horizon Europe project\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wwfcee.org\/naturaconnect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NaturaConnect<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This position is funded by the Horizon Europe research project\u00a0&#8220;NaturaConnect: Designing a resilient and\u00a0coherent Trans-European Network for Nature and People&#8221;.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NaturaConnect aims to support the\u00a0implemen-\u00a0tation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, through an integration of interdisciplinary research and stakeholder engagements\u00a0across scales and governance levels. This position will contribute to defining\u00a0a blueprint for identifying\u00a0<strong>multifunctional corridors<\/strong>\u00a0important to enhance the connectivity and resilience\u00a0of the European system of protected areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will develop a coherent\u00a0<strong>framework for assessing and designing functional and structural connectivity at the European scale<\/strong>. The position is supervised by Dr. N\u00e9stor Fern\u00e1ndez at the German Center for Integrative Biodiversity Research &#8211; iDiv.
